Friday the 13th
There’s a legend around here. A killer buried, but not dead.
A long time ago, a little boy named Jason Voorhees drowned in the waters of Camp Crystal Lake. The other kids bullied him into the water and the counselors who should have been watching the campers were off having a romantic tryst in the woods. When the boy’s grief-stricken mother found out, she took her revenge on the counselors and everyone who dared try to reopen the camp.
The one survivor of her rampage managed to cut Mrs. Voorhees’s head off by the lake where Jason died, so he rose. Hiding his deformed face behind an old hockey mask, Jason has stalked and killed anyone foolish enough to come in his forest. People have struck him down before, but he always comes back. Few have seen him and lived. Some have even tried to stop him. No one can.
The Friday the 13th films have been thrilling horror movie fans for decades. The indomitable Jason Voorhees has become an iconic monster, beloved the world over. Most recently seen in the successful multiplayer Friday the 13th game, Jason Voorhees is being discovered by a whole new generation of fans.
Just remember to stay out of his woods.
