Ferris Bueller's Day Off
One of the most popular of John Hughes 1980s teen comedies, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is a treasure for the ages. Its fourth wall-breaking protagonist’s adventures through the city of Chicago have become a story beloved by generations.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is a shaggy-dog tale about Ferris Bueller’s attempt to get out of school by faking illness. He spends the day with his best friend Cameron and his girlfriend Sloane, checking out the sights in Chicago and tooling around in Cameron’s father’s prized Ferrari Spyder. Meanwhile, both Ferris’s sister and the Dead of Students at his school believe that Ferris is faking and set off to look for him. The movie follows the characters as they struggle, grow, confront their inner demons, and wind up in a police station waiting room sitting next to a handcuffed Charlie Sheen.
One of the most pivotal coming-of-age stories of all time, Ferris Bueller is a joyful and adventurous character that reminds us all "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." Check out some of our lovely collectibles for this immortal film here.
